Student Spotlight
This program highlights the research, applied sociology activities and community activism of graduate student CSA members.
We recognize that the ongoing pandemic has impeded students’ ability to share their work with wider academic and public audiences, and this initiative seeks to help address this challenge.
In prioritizing profiles of Black, Indigenous and racialized students, we acknowledge the historical and ongoing impacts of systemic racism in academia and the importance of committing to actions that disrupt the prevailing status quo. We also understand these actions as an effort to adhere to the CSA and Student Concerns Subcommittees’ commitment to equity.
To have your efforts considered for inclusion in the next round of profiles, please fill out the following form. The committee plans additional rounds of profiles later in the year.
